Medicus Life Brands Canada Jun 07 to Oct 09 Toronto Working in the studio of this pharmaceutical advertising agency I saw a wide variety of projects: brand graphic development and brand launches, print advertising, web site development, pieces for promotional campaigns, detail aids, and product monographs.
Freelance & contract Jan 06 to Jun 07 Kuwait, Stony Plain, Toronto, Through this period I had contract and freelance jobs covering a range of disciplines, including the creation of brand graphics and standards manuals, presentations, advertising, and educational materials. My clients ranged from financial and corporate consulting companies, to local businesses, to academic and medical publications.
King Faisal Specialist Hospital Sep 03 to Nov 05 Riyadh In a senior position with the in-house design department of this major regional hospital, my work included reports for the hospital executive, promotional and program materials for symposia hosted by the hospital, and presentations and educational materials for staff and patients. Addressing brand management issues and overall printed material quality issues, I initiated a graphic standards project for the hospital. Additionally, I was Production Editor of the hospital’s medical journal, The Annals of Saudi Medicine.
Design/Sense Jun 00 to Oct 02 San Francisco With this small design studio my experience was greatly expanded with projects that included annual reports, health insurance subscription packages, brochures, newsletters, web sites (Flash and HTML), and clothing graphics. The client list ranged from major corporations to local businesses.

Carlton Printers 90 to 98 Toronto The foundation of my career was laid with this small company, where I learned the technical aspects of printing, from production to bindery, and I also received my introduction to graphic design.
