Patient Education Booklet

Created as a resource for the parents of cleft lip babies, this combined Arabic/English booklet has easy-to-understand information, instructions and graphics, designed with the understanding that some of the parents receiving the booklet may have poor reading skills.

The overall look and feel was designed as a standard, part of a brand graphic standards guide I developed for the hospital. This design took into consideration the need for effective graphics for the hospital's brand, and also technical aspects such as the varying skill levels of staff available for producing the huge volume of hospital materials. This design is effective for the environment, keeping things technically simple while maintaining brand consistency across a very wide variety of materials.
